I had a friend many years ago that was wonderful. He was such a nice guy and just all around a genuine person. We drifted apart and I tried to find him, but I just never could.

Tonight my phone rings.

I hear this horrible voice on the other line and it said I heard it was your birthday, do you know who this is? I said uhh yeah it is and no... then he dropped the accent and told me.

I was so excited. After not talking for about 7 or 8 years he remember today was my birthday. He did some digging online and found out the house number.

I had told him of what happened and my surgery and how things have changed for me. He didn't even bat an eye, he just said I have an extra bedroom. Anytime you want to come down, let me know. He hasn't changed much at all.

God, I missed him and his batshit crazy self. That totally made my night.

Speaking of spare rooms, I have two. One with a bed and the other I can get a makeshift one with.

Perhaps I should bribe you and Morri to visit the same weekend... could you imagine? :D

I have been thinking about it, and I am sure some at some point I will. I haven't seen him since I became 'differently-abled'. While I told him a few things yesterday, I want him to be prepared for the changes I've had to endure. While I know that it won't change our relationship- I want to prepare him for the changes and prepare myself.

It would be fun to see him and spend time with him. It's been ages since we hung out. Well since the time when he told me something and it made me cry, then when he hugged me his girlfriend walked in and flipped out like we were butt-naked wresslin' in baby oil and he was trying to stick it in me. hah.

She was a bitch.
